Ryanair doesn’t fly to Baku, but it is the airline most travellers use between cities once in Europe. Ryanair is low-cost: the cheapest fare includes only a small bag that fits under the seat.
Free small bag
- Size: 40 × 30 × 20 cm; it must fit under the seat in front of you.
- A handbag, laptop bag or small backpack.
- Included in every fare.
10 kg cabin bag — Priority & 2 Cabin Bags
- In addition to the small bag, a 10 kg bag of 55 × 40 × 20 cm; it goes in the overhead locker.
- You also board first, through the Priority queue.
- It sells out on busy flights; then you can buy a 10 kg check-in bag instead.
Checked bags
- 10 kg — dropped at the check-in desk and carried in the hold.
- 20 kg — up to 3 per passenger.
- 23 kg — 1 per passenger.
Fares
- Basic — small bag only.
- Regular — reserved seat, Priority and a 10 kg cabin bag.
- Plus — reserved seat, small bag and a 20 kg checked bag.
- Flexi Plus — Priority and a 10 kg cabin bag, any seat, Fast Track security; flight changes without a change fee (you pay only the fare difference).
- Family Plus — for families with children: a 10 kg checked bag each plus one 20 kg family bag.
With an infant
Infants have no cabin bag allowance, but a baby bag of up to 5 kg (45 × 35 × 20 cm) and 2 items of baby equipment (for example a stroller and a car seat) are free.
Tips
- The small bag is checked at the gate; one that doesn’t fit goes in the hold for a fee.
- Buy bags with your ticket: later, especially at the airport, they cost more.
